Thanks to You, the 2019 CTI Annual Conference was a Great Success!
March 5, 2019
More than 400 attendees from around the globe participated in the Cooling Technology Institute’s (“CTI”) Annual Conference in New Orleans earlier this month. Twenty-nine technical papers were presented on topics of interest to the Industry in the fields of engineering standards, maintenance, thermal performance, and water treatment. Seminars were held for owners and operators of heat rejection equipment as well as an informative “Ask the Expert” session. Over 66 vendors exhibited their products at the trade fair held on Tuesday evening. In addition, CTI technical committee meetings were held in support of the CTI’s thermal certification program as well as to maintain and develop numerous CTI codes, standards, and guidelines.
CTI welcomed a number of new members, honored some of the most influential and supportive members of the past, hosted an extremely successful Owner/Operator Seminar, an Educational Seminar focused on water treatment and air-cooled steam condensers, and continued its flagship Ask-the-Expert Seminar which explored a number of topics from balancing vibrating fans to how to deal with mayflies and even the discussion of new and anticipated laws and legislation in an effort to combat the presence of Legionella bacteria.
It's going to be an exciting year for CTI leading up to our 70th anniversary, and we can't wait to spend it with you!
